To ensure that reported data are reliable, valid, complete and comparable, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) require that Medicare Part C and D organizations undergo an independent data validation (DV) audit.
CMS sets forth strict criteria for DV vendor selection which include: previous experience, successful completion of similar projects, staff and management credentials, facility requirements and resource availability.
HDC has over two decades of experience conducting healthcare data audits. Similar projects include IAV, CPE, RADV, URAC, P4P and HEDIS audits. HDC has extensive knowledge of Medicare Parts C and D reporting requirements and technical specifications.
HDC provides a team of specialists to assist with every audit. This team includes Executive Management, Lead Auditor, Analysts, Code Reviewers, RN/LPNs, Pharmacists and Physicians – as needed. HDC’s staff is available for consultation throughout the year. HDC is currently in the final stages of HITRUST Certification and has a permanent, secure headquarters where all centralized processing and analysis is performed.
