Contributions to Our Clients

Our data and research services work impacts on clients in a variety of ways. We strive to make sure that our work contributes to one or more of the following:

  • An improved understanding of "what's happening" - We analyze client data and relevant research materials, and then generate reports that document and explain our findings and, where appropriate, offer recommendations. Helping clients understand both what's happening and why helps lay the foundation for change.

  • Data improvements - As data experts, we are able to address a variety of data problems that come to light only after spending significant time working with the data. We often contribute to improvements in client data collection, data consistency, data accuracy, data completeness, etc.

  • Quality improvements - Our analysis of client data and compilation and review of associated research materials often enable us to identify opportunities for improving the quality of services. Our work contributes both to the identification and measurement of differences and to the pursuit of change so as to improve quality.

  • Cost reductions - Our data work can contribute to the identification of areas where costs could be reduced or where the rate of increase in these costs could be reduced.

  • Improved decision-making - Having the facts, having the data and supportive research in hand and analyzed by us, improves the ability to make decisions, to make the right decisions and to defend the decisions made.

  • Improved representation - Clients can better represent their own interests when they have the data, an interpretation of their data and guidance as to how it can be used. Representation is more effective when the facts are in hand and understood, whether it be interacting with various constituents, negotiating contracts, establishing relationships, or any other representation roles.
